Andrews’ reputation has grown over the years; from completing his apprenticeship at the age of 20 in light goods and then expanding his knowledge into a qualified Commercial Fitter. Working in the motor trade gaining valuable experience in many aspects of the motor industry such as managing vehicle quality and procedures at Honda HUM has enabled him to expand his knowledge in many aspects of the motor industry. Andrew gained a wealth of experience in roadside repair and recovery whilst working at N D Services, which also greatly
expanded his HGV mechanical knowledge gaining his class 1 HGV license and ADR qualification. After relocating to Cornwall Andrew spent several months maintaining and servicing the fleet of HGV vehicles at large Transport company which helped further extended his knowledge in the HGV field, Using his knowledge of operational procedures Andrew put procedures in place to gain his accreditation.
In October 2015 Andrew and Bella made the decision to form their own family run independent company ‘RTA Recovery & Garage Services Ltd’. With the continued support of the recovery companies and former members of staff who have made this venture with us it is our aim to build on our strengths to provide breakdown and recovery services together with a full range of commercial and domestic garage services providing our customer’s with quality work at a reasonable price.

Our recovery business now includes Allianz, ARL, Auto Home Ltd, Axa, Call Assist, CMG, Egertons, Emergency Assist, FMG, National Breakdown, NTBS, National Chemical Assistance, Enterprise Flexi Rent,One Call, RS Recovery, TMG and VRNL. We operate a fleet of vehicles capable of recovering the majority of vehicles in most situations 24 / 7 utilizing the APEX system. We also offer full storage facilities. We also carry out Fleet work for Fleet Assist,Enterprise Flexi Rent,  Accesshire, etc.
